This is a fun post to celebrate pride and support Seattle Gay New's Pride issue. I was chosen as Seattle Gay News (SGN) People's Choice Award Best Dietitian of 2025! To celebrate both myself and the wonderful publication that is SGN, look in the Pride celebration week issue of this month (2026) to find a 2000's-ish throwback themed fun quiz.

Tacos:

You are ready to be out and about with fellow extroverted introverts to celebrate this wonderful month and toppings only make it more fun! Tacos, as you may know, have a lot of versaility. They can range from "mom midwestern tacos" to the more traditional with cilantro and onions to the birria with the crispy cheese and juicy dipping sauce. You like to be able to do just this - be whatever person or energy is needed of you in the moment. If you aren't going out, then you are most likely going to be throwing the party or hosting the impropmtu after party. The world loves how you make us feel! If this also means that food sometimes feels too hard to choose or you go from no hunger to ravenous in no time flat, click the contact me button. Having someone who can guide you in learning what supports your energy and lifestyle so you feel your best may be a game changer. I can do just this, give me a call.

Seattle Dog:

Pride is something you are waiting for much of the year, mainly because you get to be around and with your people more. You often have classic places you go, routines that feel like comfort and know the balance of what feels good and what thrills you. Reliable and trustworthy, you enjoy watching the action as much as being part of it, however, the whole package is what is important to you. You selectively curate what each moment of your valuable time should be filled with and when chef's kiss it goes to plan, you feel as if you are sitting on your throne, surrounded by your closest pals. Routine can do a lot to help us care for ourselves, as you know, or make it hard to think outside of the box occasionally. If you'd like to explore how your current routine is supporting your health and connection to your body, reach out.

Rainbow Bagel:

You are person who knows the best spot for parties, shows and dancing all Pride month long. You selectively choose which you attend and show up dressed to impress. Show stopping and jaw dropping, making entrances and occasional quiet exits is your MO. Sometimes a mix of toasty and creamy, you enjoy how something looks as much as how it tastes. Experience and enjoyment often go hand in hand because of how much care you put into what you choose, especially for yourself. There is something about you that is rare and unique. People notice this about you on the street or simply in the way you carry yourself. Being this way can take a lot of energy! If you want to talk about how to best fuel this or any part of you, contact me to talk more.
