I have been saying this for years. I never intended my practice to be virtual. I am an extrovert and in person loving human. SO. I have decided to start facilitating community building in Seattle and hopefully throughout the USA.
How am I starting? With a local event series. NEXT WEDNESDAY 3/4/26, if you are in Seattle, WA or nearby and want to come be around others who are seeking community and who are body liberation identified and anti-culture (or want to be!), these are for you.
Come join me for a Retro Craft Night on March 4th 2026 from 7-9 pm. I'm the host and would love to see you there.
This space is ADA acessible, seating accommodates bodies of a variety of sizes and there will be non alcoholic beverages and snacks provided. You do not need to purchase a beverage to join.
This is being held in a place that serves alcohol primarily because they allow me to utilize the space with minmal cost.

I read the article and it clearly explains how community can be an antidote to diet culture by encouraging support, shared experiences, and a healthier mindset around food instead of pressure or guilt. It shows how being connected with others can improve emotional wellbeing and reduce harmful habits. I remember during a stressful study period I felt overwhelmed with exams, so I used Sophia platform quiz & exam help to stay on track and manage my workload. That experience showed me how support can make difficult situations more balanced and less stressful.
